For the production of its faucets, LAUFEN draws on the expertise acquired in nearly 170 years of manufacturing on its production site at company headquarters in Laufen (Switzerland). Design, new surfaces and colors
Sophisticated design, along with quality, is a hallmark of the LAUFEN brand. Collections such as Kartell • LAUFEN, VAL, LUA and the new MEDA series include matching faucets at the time of market launch.
More color is also coming into play these days. Faucets are offered in trendy colors such as black or black matt and are now available in gold and rose gold or in a brushed, matt look, thanks to a new PVD coating process. PVD stands for “Physical Vapor Deposition”, a process in which metallic surfaces are coated with an ultra-thin crystalline layer, comparable to a layer of glass on a metallic substrate. The coated product is twice as scratch-resistant as normal chrome-plated products, highly durable and very easy to clean.
Smart and sustainable
For public buildings, LAUFEN offers smart, networked faucet solutions that can be managed via the LAUFEN Smart Solution App to monitor maintenance needs, optimize settings and thus reduce water consumption.
In the private sector, faucets equipped with Eco or Eco+ help to save water and energy with their cold water start function and flow control.
