Residential complex NIDO, Bratislava, Slovakia
The residential complex NIDO is characterized by an excellent layout of 115 apartments shaped in the form of a garden pavilion on the former sports grounds in Bratislava.
Several streamlined towers with differentiated heights emphasized by a façade of residential modules with wood-plastic lamellas and wooden windows are delimiting a natural area around, which is closed to residents only and is full of greenery, benches and a children’s playground.
This project has won the Price for Architecture 2019 in the category of “Residential buildings” asserted by the Slovak Chamber of Architects and thus validating the buildings’ excellence.
