LAUFEN AND AIA EUROPE ANNOUNCE STUDENT COMPETITION: CALL FOR PARTICIPATION
A Two-Day Juried Student Competition
5-6 April 2018, 09:00-17:00
With the generous support of Chapter Sponsor LAUFEN, AIA Europe is hosting a juried two-day student competition concurrent with the Spring Conference Youth Space & Urban Transformation in Pristina, Kosovo, 5-6 April 2018, 09:00-17:00.
The Competition is open to all undergraduate and graduate architecture students to apply for participation. Students will design collaboratively in five teams with 4 students each, mentored by AIA members and local professors. Students can apply as teams or individuals. AIA Europe will cover the lunches and refreshments as well as all supplies needed for two days. At the end of the second day, teams will submit their ideas on an A0 sheet, hand drawn or CAD.
Winners will be announced during conference with all projects exhibited at both Conference Venue and local University. Applicants are encouraged to request participation via email to email@example.com. Deadline for application is March 2nd, 2018.

Youth Space & Urban Transformation
April 5th - 8th, 2018
10 years old this year, Kosovo is the youngest country in Europe with also the youngest population; the average age of the inhabitants of the capital city Pristina is 25.
This 3-day AIA Europe Conference will explore the various ways Pristina has been rebuilding since the end of the Kosovo War in 1999, while focusing on the role of young people as pro-active participants for change.
