Laufen participation at Design Shenzhen
Held from March 21 to 24, 2024 at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center, Design Shenzhen attracts a discerning audience of architects, designers, and customers from the southern region of China, including Guangzhou and Shenzhen, providing an engaging platform for design trends and technology.
A highlight of the LAUFEN participation has been the collaboration with Marcel Wanders, the visionary behind The New Classic collection. In an exclusive interview conducted by FRAME, Marcel Wanders gave an insight into his creative process which has been broadcast via FRAME’s WeChat platform.
Following the interview, Wanders made a special appearance at the FRAME booth, where The New Classic collection was presented. This provided an opportunity for attendees to witness the fusion of Wanders’ creativity with Laufen’s manufacturing expertise, while he added a personal flourish with the signing of the ceramic mirror from the collection. The New Classic, designed by Marcel Wanders Studio and launched by Laufen in 2019, includes a comprehensive range for the bathroom, from washbasins and furniture to bathtubs and accessories.
As the exclusive Gold Sponsor of the Design Shenzhen main forum, LAUFEN supported a series of talks with expert insights into the world of design from illustrious speakers including Marcel Wanders, Vincent de Graaf, Zhong Zheng (CCD) and Zhitian Liang.
