PASSAGEN 2024

Cologne Interior Design Week 2024 - This year LAUFEN takes you to a historic pavilion

From 12 to 18 January 2024, LAUFEN invites design enthusiasts to Germany’s major design event with around 150 exhibitions spread across Cologne. Once again, the 34th PASSAGEN promise a fascinating variety of events centred around design, crafts, architecture and urban living.

This year, the location alone is a must-see: the legendary “Stoff-Pavillon Moeller”, a listed, filigree building in typical 1950s architecture, is the venue for a show all about bathrooms.

On display: A selection of products and current topics which embrace the latest trends in design, functionality and lifestyle and that offer solutions for architects, interior designers and craftsmen.

Another highlight is the 25th ARCHITECTS’ SESSION, a series of lectures on design and sustainability organised by LAUFEN together with Dallmer and other industry partners.

About Stoff-Pavillon Moeller

In 1952, the architect Wilhelm Riphahn designed the Moeller fabric pavilion for the Moeller family: it emphasises the functional lightness, the horizontal layering of the façade, the transparency of the ground floor, so that it appears to float on the base of the building like a large, crystalline and translucent showcase. Wilhelm Riphahn is one of Cologne’s most important post-war architects; his visions and plans for innovative housing estates (late 1920s, early 1930s) are remarkable.

Under the roof of the Moeller fabric pavilion, LAUFEN, Alape an Dallmer jointly present inspiring bathroom solutions during PASSAGEN 2024.
