We understand that our presence at ISH takes a toll on the environment. Therefore, took the following steps to mitigate the environmental impacts of ist ISH stand:
- The size of this year’s stand has been considerably reduced, compared with that of 2019
- 50% of the construction material of this stand is reused from previous fairs
- The CO2e footprint of this exhibition stand was calculated, and investments were made into climate projects, which ensure that as many emissions are reduced or removed from the atmosphere as were caused during the course ofthe event and could not be avoided. The projects not only reduce greenhouse gas emissions, but also contribute to the social, ecological and economic development in the respective region.
CLIMATE IMPACT ASSESSMENT
Purpose of the Assessment: myclimate calculated the Carbon Footprint for the attendance of Laufen Bathrooms AG at the ISH trade fair 2023 in Frankfurt, based on the information provided by the company.
Data Source: All the data on the setup and booth size was provided by Laufen Bathrooms AG.
Applied Method: Included in the Carbon Footprint are the extraction of raw materials, the manufacturing of products, their transport and packaging to the booth location, the construction and dismantling of the booth, the fair operation, as well as the waste produced.
Impact Assessment Method: Global Warming Potential 100 years -IPCC 2013
Background Database:The emission factors were mainly taken from the ecoinvent database version 3.6.
