MARBOND

Marbond is a composite material consisting of two layers, which are extremely firmly bonded to one another: the basis is provided by a highquality mineral cast material whose surface is coated with a thin layer of Gealcoat. The latter has several advantages which the material can make full use of under the shower: the matt surface harmonises perfectly with the ceramic in the bathroom, it is antibacterial, slip resistant, temperature resistant to EN 263 and resistant to UV light and chemicals. This is an easy-to-clean and hygienic solution for public, semi-public and private shower areas. Because the shower trays are made of Marbond in a casting process, individual shapes and sizes are easily created. The whole RAL colour palette is available for custom-made products; standard shower trays are available in the colours white and light ivory, which blend in perfectly with the corresponding ceramic colours. Laufen offers a repair kit in the three standard colours to repair damage and scratches.
