The new LANI furniture collection: purity of aesthetics and maximum functionality
In over a decade of collaboration with LAUFEN, Toan Nguyen has acquired full understanding of the manufacturing processes and has created collections that combine formal purity with extreme functionality. His design is characterized by a great attention to the object and its interaction with the end user without neglecting the material’s sensuality and the emotional impact. This is the case of LANI, a furniture collection characterized by an extremely contemporary stylistic vocabulary which can easily fit into various ceramic collections from the wide-ranging LAUFEN catalogue.
The furniture collection consists of vanity units, cabinets, countertops, drawer elements, modular system, mirrors, mirror cabinets, featuring slim side panels and recessed doors with indented handles and varnished surfaces setting new standards in the world of bathroom furniture.
A wide range of colours and finishes
Soft-close doors and drawers as well as glass shelves inside the cupboards come as standard, while practical accessories such as drawer organisers and matching towel rails to attach to the sides of the furniture add extra comfort. The range of colours has also been perfected.
The interior of the furniture is an elegant shade of anthracite, while the fresh appearance of the exterior with its wild oak wood finish surface comes into its own in classic white, grey or any one of 40 other shades, including the special colours gold, copper and titanium.
Diversified and multifaceted collection
LANI features shapes and sizes of various kinds, from drawer units with a length from 600 to 1200 mm to long and thin storage units, up to 1650 mm in height.
The collection also includes a set of modular countertops, available in a wide range of colours and with various lengths (from 60 cm to 160 cm).
LAUFEN also bears in mind the needs of the installers: the mounting components of the furniture can be easily adjusted in 3D so that the furniture can be quickly, intuitively and accurately installed.
LANI is a transversal furniture collection
Thanks to the eclectic design and the linearity of its shapes, LANI can be perfectly integrated with different LAUFEN ceramic collections such as LUA, Kartell • LAUFEN, Living and Palace to include both washbasins and bowls.
The standards achieved by the collection not only concern quality and aesthetics, but also environmental ethics. The wood used to make LANI comes from PEFC and FSC-certified sources within Europe.
