A design led and material driven presence at KBIS 2026 strengthened our dialogue with the North American architecture and design community
From 17 to 19 February 2026, LAUFEN returned to KBIS, reaffirming our presence at North America’s leading kitchen and bath industry platform. Over three days, our team engaged with architects, designers, planners and partners, strengthening relationships and exchanging perspectives on the evolving role of the bathroom within contemporary architecture.
Our stand expressed a coherent and material driven vision, presenting the bathroom as an integrated architectural space where design, technology and sustainability converge. Rather than focusing on isolated products, we emphasised a holistic approach shaped by Swiss precision, technical expertise and long term responsibility.
Material innovation was at the centre of attention, particularly with the introduction of Vitreon Steel. The glazed steel material attracted significant interest throughout the fair and became a focal point for conversation. Combining the strength and malleability of steel with the durability and chemical resistance of glass, Vitreon Steel offers a hygienic, colour fast and corrosion protected surface. Its refined geometries, precise edges and distinctive tactile quality position the washbasin as a key architectural element, expanding design possibilities within the premium bathroom segment.
Alongside this, Saphirkeramik continued to demonstrate how advanced ceramic technology enables precision, expressive freedom and efficient use of resources. Modular systems and integrated installation solutions further illustrated our commitment to supporting professionals from concept to execution.
KBIS 2026 once again proved to be a valuable platform for meaningful exchange. The strong response to Vitreon Steel and the quality of conversations held throughout the event reinforced our position within the global premium bathroom segment and strengthened our dialogue with the North American market.
