The New Classic Collection designed by Marcel Wanders was presented in China during two events in Shanghai and Beijing. Marcel Wanders attended both events and presented to an audience of over two hundred people mainly architects, designers, and journalists the collection he has designed for LAUFEN.
China is one of the most important and growing markets for LAUFEN especially in HighEnd Project Development the aim was to reach out to the A&D community directly and present the brand.
THE NEW CLASSIC is a poetic experience of design and innovation in the bathroom sector. Marcel Wanders has given a new interpretation of SaphirKeramik which relies on a sinuous, contemporary classic concept. He has reinvented for LAUFEN the classic dimensions to create a versatile, variegated concept of classic style, in which bohemian taste blends perfectly with cosmopolitan and metropolitan image, suggesting an eclectic lifestyle. During the two events, Marcel Wander gave the audience a very deep insight about his design thinking, design process, and his beliefs in today’s world.
