The 5-star hotel in Vienna’s city centre represents the highest design standards, a refined way of living and a breathtaking historical ambience. With the opening of the Park Hyatt Vienna in 2014, the venerable bank building became a sophisticated luxury hotel with a great sense of aesthetic and comfort. The listed interior of the bank, which is one of the finest and most elegant in Vienna, is a true art nouveau objet d’art and offers the ideal setting for a sophisticated luxury hotel.
During the conversion into a hotel, many historical details were authentically restored and complemented by modern design. The result is a harmonious mix of old and new, which is particularly evident in the 143 guest rooms and 41 suites of the Park Hyatt Vienna. Exquisite elements made of wood, marble and mother-of-pearl have been skilfully combined here in harmony with the historical architecture.
Five star bathroom fittings
As expected with this luxurious property, great importance was also attached to the design of the bathrooms in the suites, with a desire to meet the requirements of international guests, including those from Asia, in terms of bathroom equipment. For this reason, shower toilets have been recently installed in selected suites in the King Premium category with the Cleanet RIVA shower toilet from LAUFEN, which impresses with its closed, high-quality ceramic body and user-friendly operation.
Noble design in different variations
The elegant, pure design of the shower toilet can hardly be distinguished from a classic toilet, which is why it can be harmoniously integrated into the bathroom design of the Park Hyatt Vienna. Only a rotary control on the side suggests that complex technology is hidden inside.

Sophisticated ease of use in the hotel
The various functions of Cleanet RIVA can be easily operated regardless of the guest’s technical skills. LAUFEN has developed its own hotel version of its shower toilet for easy and immediate use, which enables the most common hygiene functions to be carried out quickly and intuitively using a rotary and remote control. For guests with an affinity for technology, there is also the option of using an additional app on the smartphone to save the shower functions, via a personalized user profile, which can be used with the Cleanet RIVA in any hotel.
