VITREON Steel

From January 2026, we welcome glazed steel into our material universe under the name VITREON steel. As part of our longstanding commitment to Swiss bathroom design, we expand the design and specification possibilities of the washbasin area with this premium bathroom material, enabling a more coherent and flexible approach to contemporary bathroom architecture. This development strengthens our vision of the bathroom as a complete living space, conceived as a unified system guided by material intelligence, clarity and precision.

The introduction of VITREON steel brings new design possibilities to our washbasin offer. We now provide four premium materials for washbasins: Saphirkeramik, sanitary ceramics, VITREON steel and mineral cast. Each material contributes a distinct spatial quality while remaining aligned with our recognisable design language.

VITREON steel combines the strength and malleability of steel with the temper and chemical resistance of glass, creating an innovative bathroom material that is hygienic, colour fast, corrosion protected, scratch resistant and robust. Its pore free, seamless surface prevents the accumulation of dirt and bacteria, ensuring a clean, durable and low-maintenance finish. Characterised by refined geometries, sophisticated finishes and subtle tonal variations, it introduces a new tactile experience and a timeless aesthetic that naturally extends our premium bathroom identity.

The thin walled precision of VITREON steel refines proportions, enhances lightness and reinforces the architectural presence of the washbasin area. As a glazed steel washbasin material, it anchors the composition within our wider bathroom system, while furniture, faucets, mirrors, lighting and accessories continue the visual dialogue in a coherent and balanced manner.

By expanding our material palette, we broaden the scope for contemporary bathroom planning. Architects and designers can tailor the washbasin area with greater precision to meet technical requirements, spatial constraints and aesthetic intentions across residential developments, hospitality environments and high end private bathrooms.

All VITREON steel washbasins are produced in our premium factory in Goslar, Germany. We continue to invest in the site to preserve its longstanding expertise, ensuring enduring material quality, technological know how and the recognised Made in Germany standard.
