W Hotel, Barcelona, Spain

Designed by the world-renowned architect Ricardo Bofill, the sail-shaped W Barcelona rises above the Mediterranean sea. Due to its elegance and distinctive shape the hotel has already become the new landmark of the dynamic and stylish city.

The 26-storey tower, with its glass facade reflecting the ocean and sky, is inserted in the low-slung atrium building, which houses the lobby. Public functions are accommodated under a platform designed in the form of two huge terraces. The big volume of the conference hall with its large window overlooking the sea interrupts the horizontal lines of the base.

The five-star hotel comprises a rooftop bar, a large spa as well as indoor and outdoor pools. 473 luxurious and modern rooms including 67 suites boast spectacular views over the Barcelona cityscape and Mediterranean sea. Equipped with LAUFEN’s PALOMBA COLLECTION toilets modern elegance is carried on to the bathrooms.
