Warsaw office tower The Bridge puts sustainability centre-stage

The LAUFEN BESPOKE programme creates unique washbasins that align with the premium office development's architectural language and environmental commitment.

An architectural space shaped by light and material

The Bridge is a landmark office development located in Warsaw’s Wola district, adjacent to the city’s primary modern business hub. The complex integrates two structures: a 174-metre-high modern glass tower and a revitalised historic publishing house built in the 1950s, connected by an 18-metre-high glazed lobby that functions as a shared public space, strengthening the relationship between heritage and modern urban development. The Bridge operates on 100% clean energy, has a vacuum sewage system that reduces water usage by up to 75% and has achieved BREEAM Excellent and WELL Gold certifications. The project’s sustainability objectives align with LAUFEN’s deep commitment to designing and producing complete bathroom solutions that are as climate-friendly and environmentally friendly as possible.

Custom-designed bathroom solutions

Given The Bridge’s scale and sustainability ambitions, the project required coordinated solutions that could be precisely aligned with architectural intent, operational requirements and long-term performance expectations in a high-traffic, premium office environment. LAUFEN’s BESPOKE programme enabled the development of custom-made washbasins tailored to the building’s spatial layout and functional zoning. Dimensions, configurations and detailing were developed in close cooperation with the architectural and interior design teams, ensuring visual consistency across multiple floors. Moreover, the electronic and water-efficient faucets were selected from the portfolio of products offered by Roca Group.

The LAUFEN BESPOKE programme

LAUFEN BESPOKE gives architects, interior designers and planners the possibility to include custom-designed bathroom products in unique hotel, residential and public projects. The programme enables the personalisation of colours, surfaces and dimensions of existing products or the design and production of completely customised pieces. These individual solutions are created in collaboration with leading international architects and designers like Konstantin Grcic, Herzog & de Meuron and BIG. BESPOKE embraces all product categories, from bathtubs, washbasins and toilets to furniture, mirrors and fittings to create unique bathing spaces.
