Coinciding with this year’s edition of Art Basel, we hosted a new edition of Architecture During Art — an evening of reflection, dialogue and exchange that brought together leading voices from the fields of architecture and design.

Under the title Rehearsing Change, we welcomed the curators of the German, Austrian and Swiss pavilions for the 2025 Venice Architecture Biennale, as well as designer and entrepreneur Yves Behar. Moderated by Tanja Heuchele, the panel sparked a rich and engaging conversation around the potential of architecture and design to respond to some of today’s most urgent challenges — from climate stress and social inequality to the transformation of institutions.

We were delighted by the interest and energy of the audience, who contributed to a vibrant atmosphere throughout the evening. Together, we explored a central question: how can we create spaces — physical, political, imagined — for coexistence in times of rupture? The discussion invited us to think about responsibility, imagination and collective agency through the lens of spatial practice.

The programme also included an exclusive tour of our ceramic factory, where guests had the opportunity to experience first-hand the craft and innovation that define our approach. We concluded the evening with a special preview of VOLTA, a new concept developed by Yves Behar in collaboration with LAUFEN.

We’re grateful to all who joined us for this inspiring edition, and we look forward to continuing the conversation.
